What does a midshipmen do during a typical week as a freshman midshipman?
• Monday Battalion PT 0600-0700 • Tuesday Wear uniform, Naval Science class, Naval Science Lab • Thursday Naval Science class, learn to drill in afternoon • Friday Voluntary basketball with active duty staff ** Mandatory Study Hall 6-9 PM Monday Thursday: For 1st semester freshmen and those that have demonstrated need due to poor performance in a previous semester. Generally, a freshman must attend 3 out of 4 nights. This is done in order to help our freshmen begin their college careers on the right foot by attempting to establish strong study habits from the beginning. It has been our experience that many freshmen bring their high school study habits to college with them, which usually does not meet the mark. NOTE: THE APPLICATION FEE FOR NCSU IS $55.
