Quality is a huge factor in assuring the growth and success of a business or a product. A quality assurance (QA) technician does just what the title implies; he or she assures the quality of specific products or services. Quality assurance remains an integral part of the production or service process. In many companies, the quality assurance/quality control (QC) lab or department is a focal point of the corporate mission and administration. Because of their importance, quality assurance technicians must often be highly educated and experienced in the particular manufacturing methods and products they deal with.
