Cohort is a collection or sampling of individuals who share a common characteristic.

In the MET Program, we use “cohort” to refer to the group of students admitted in any given year, and who will finish together after two years. As a cohort, the students take all core classes together with the same core professors throughout the two-year program. Cohort XI is our current group, and will graduate in May 2003.
