What does Derridas cultural background have to do with his theory on deconstruction?

I believe that deconstruction is the breaking down of language into components where one can analyze meaning on their own terms, not on the author’s. By breaking down the language, viewer/reader will be able to see where the creators medium, whether it be text or paint, is broken down and deconstructs itself. I think deconstruction is based on the fact that words continuously contradict themselves, and no meaning can be brought forth for anything. Therefore, since no meaning is actually a “correct” one, the viewer can find the slippages on its own and form their own conclusion with the data. Language can only explain things so far, and deconstruction is the one philosophy that makes that statement come to pass.
