What does domestic tranquility mean?
Domestic tranquility comes from the US Constitution. It was a worry for the founders of our nation that if there were a rebellion that they wouldn’t be able to quell it. Therefore, it’s in the Constitution that the federal government can intercede if a state has unrest to insure domestic tranquility!
