Don’t waste your time. Shill bidding is next to impossible to prove now that eBay hides bidders’ IDs, and without specifics eBay will do nothing about it. Solution: Before you enter a bid, decide on how much you are willing to pay for an item, and let that amount be your maximum bid. Then if a shill bidder gets involved, it will have no effect on your decision. If however you suspect a specific seller is using shill bidders, simply avoid that seller. It will make your life a whole lot easier.
