Perfume, Aftershave, Eau de Parfum (EDP) and Eau de Toilette (EDT) mean slightly different things for mens and womens fragrances. In short, for women the strongest fragrance available is Perfume, followed by Eau de Perfume and then Eau de Toilette. As such Perfume and EDP tends to be more expensive and longer lasting, however with EDT being slightly lighter it is better suited to everyday use. For men, the strongest fragrance is usually Eau de Toilette (EDT) with Aftershave having a slightly less concentration of fragrance but being kinder to the skin.
