What Does Expressive Candles Mean?
Our name, Expressive Candles, was chosen for several reasons. Candle-making is a craft, an art and a science. When I first began making scented candles it was another way for me to express myself through color and fragrance. I could express and convey my mood with the different scent and color I chose. Then I began giving the scented candles I made as gifts to family and friends and realized the gift giving aspect expressed many things as well. At times it has expressed sorrow for a lost loved-one. They have expressed the joy and happiness of a marriage or the birth of a new loved-one. I have also given candles as a simple “Thank-you” or “Just-Because” gift. The list just goes on and on!
