What does “F” mean against the shelfmark?

F denotes Folio. These are books over 31.5 cm in height. They are only found in our Art and Design libraries at Gosta Green, Margaret Street, Bournville and Vittoria Street. At these sites there is a separate Folio sequence at the end of each bay of books.
