What does Islam teach its followers?
Islam has 5 Pillars
1) Declaration of Faith (There is no God but Allah, Muhammad is his messenger)
2) Obligatory prayer (Prayer 5 times a day )
3) Compulsory Giving ( Money/property given to poor once a year )
4) Fasting in the month of Ramadhan
5) Pilgrimage to Mecca (only if you can afford to)
These are the must things to do, well there is something called Sunnah ( Deeds of Prophet). Following the thing the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W did.
I hope it’s clear to you.
Thank You.
Islam is a monotheistic religion enunciated by the Koran, or a text that is considered the word of God (in Arabic, Allah is God). The Islamic religion also follows the teachings and normative example of Muhammad, the last prophet of Islam. The word Islam means “submission to God” and a follower of the Islamic religion is called a Muslim.
