What does it mean when a card says it adds +8F to a reversal?
It means that whatever the Fortitude Value of the reversal you want to play, add 8F to it. So if I want to play an Escape Move, which costs 0F, it now costs 8F and if I have a Fortitude Rating of 7F or less, I won’t be able to play the Escape Move. By the way, we call this adding of Fortitude “Fortitude plunging”.
