What does it say about someone who greatly prefers cats versus someone who definitely prefers dogs?

I think it does say a lot about personality. I won’t say that dog people are more extroverted, because I’m a cat person and an extrovert, my husband is a cat person (he thought he was a dog person until he met me, and had the experience of having cats around all the time, now he prefers cats) and he’s an introvert. I do think, though, that cat people (and this is based on absolutely nothing but my own theories) are more introspective and are more willing to accept the fact that it’s much more difficult to ’control’ a cat than it is a dog. You can’t take them to the beach, it’s harder to train them to come when you whistle (though it is possible — I’ve done it 😉 ) and they hardly ever learn to bring you your slippers. 😉 They pretty much sit there and look out the window, or play, or stand on your chest in the morning when they want to eat. The dog people I know, I don’t think, are as psychic-ly introspective as my husband and I are. I think they are much more “living in the real wor
