What does Loudoun have to offer elementary school students?

0

The Loudoun County Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department sponsors before school and after school programs for all elementary age students attending public school. The Before School Program is offered at Little River Elementary and at some community centers. The primary purpose of the programs is to provide safe, accountable, fun, recreational activities to children of working parents. The activities are designed to enhance recreation, behavior, social and physical skills. They are child-centered and child-directed and are planned and developed to meet the individual child’s special needs or interests. Parents are encouraged to take an active role in the children’s program by volunteering at sites and participating in special family events. Our programs strive to be responsive to the needs of the children, families, and communities we serve.
