What does method mean when it says “non-toxic”?
“Non-toxic” can describe an ingredient or an entire formula. It is used for a formula when all of the ingredients meet a certain level of non-toxicity, or when the modeled sum of all of the ingredient toxicities is less toxic than a widely accepted threshold for safety. To assess the toxicity of our formulations, we use data from suppliers, as well as simulated skin and eye tests. We never test on animals.
