The elicitation of muscle responses will force changes in the lactic acid levels in your body as a result of the training and “muscle twitching” that the musculoskeletal fibers go through. You want to distinguish soreness in the muscle for central nervous system pain (i.e. sharp nerve pain), joint or cartilage pain, or any intense sharp pains that muscle soreness does NOT contribute to!
