These are Canadian Morgan horses which at the time of reciprocity. January 1, 1985, were not registered with the AMHA, but were registered with CLRC. If you own a Morgan horse, which is on this list, and you have AMHA registration papers, a copy of the AMHA registration papers should be sent to the CLRC so they can remove the horse’s name from the list. A horse may be removed from the list by registering it with the AMHA, which means meeting its registry requirements for such an animal. The horse may be removed from the list by blood typing back to the last AMHA registered animals. This usually involves the respective horse and its dam. N.B. Some horses can never be qualified for removal. It can be a costly process, but if you wish to sell or show your “Not Eligible for US Reciprocity” Morgan in the US, it must be done.
