What does Ofsted do?
Ofsted inspect and regulate to achieve excellence in the care of children and young people, and in education and skills for learners of all ages, carrying out checks and interviews on applicants to ensure they are suitable for registration; also checking premises/equipment to ensure they are safe and suitable for children. They investigate concerns to check that providers are still meeting requirements and take enforcement action when necessary.
