Here is an answer : To be honest porcupine meat tastes delicious. It is similar to duck meat but with more flavour and very crunchy. I myself prefer it more than duck. Actually My wife has prepared bbq porqupine for our family many times and we have relatives that want to know when she does one. She starts bu skinning and gutting the porky, (VERY CAREFULLY!! ) Then after cleaning, cut into a few pieces and boil in water untill meat can be pulled from the bones and shredded. That mixed with her homemade BBQ sauce makes an Awesome BBQ.
