Pro Rata means the pay shown is the amount payable for a 37 hour week so if the position offered was for say 22 hours and the pay was £25,000 pro rata you would divide £25,000 by 37 (hours) to get the hourly rate then times the hourly rate by 22 hours to find the actual amount for the offered position PA means per annum and it is the amount to be paid whatever the hours
