What does RPI Ambulance do?
General Service – We provide Emergency Medical Services to the RPI Community 24 hours a day, seven days a week throughout the school year, and year-round when staffing levels permit. Mutual Aid – We provide Mutual Aid services to the surrounding areas, the City of Troy, the Town of Brunswick, the Town of North Greenbush, and other municipalities as resource levels permit. RPI Ambulance is a co-signer of the Rensselaer County Mutual Aid Plan, and a member of the Rensselaer County Ambulance and Rescue Association. Athletic Event Coverage – We cover many different athletic events for the RPI Community, from the NCAA Division I Men’s Ice Hockey games at the Houston Fieldhouse to the Division III Men’s Football games on the ’86 Field. We also cover special athletic events, such as when the Empire State Games were hosted by RPI in the summer of 1997.
