Each of these “legacy” programs has been frozen when Search Submit launched. If legacy customers do not choose to migrate into the Search Submit program, they may remain in the legacy programs until their current subscriptions expire. No additions or changes are allowed to URLs in legacy programs, but customers may permanently remove URLs. Legacy Search Submit customers will receive a limited-time free trial of Yahoo! traffic through April 15, 2004. After that date, they will no longer receive distribution in Yahoo! Search results. Legacy AltaVista and FAST paid inclusion customers will not receive Yahoo! traffic and the distribution of their listings will not change as a result of the Search Submit launch.
