What does Shell hope to achieve through the consultation process?
Through consultation we can explore aspects of the project which we might otherwise have been overlooked, and we can explain the dilemmas we face in a way that may help others to help us. We are committed to being open and transparent and we want to share and understand different perspectives on decommissioning. Who are the stakeholders you are engaging with? Our stakeholders include local and national environmental groups; Fisherman’s Associations; key government agencies; National and Local Government; Unions; Industry Bodies and Academics. We have a large database of over 100 stakeholders who are included in our engagement.
