What does tackle-twill mean?
Tackle Twill is a process where letters, numbers, logos and designs are cut from polyester or rayon twill fabric that is sewn to a garment. An adhesive backing tacks the material in place and the edges are sewn with a zig-zag or satin stitch. Tackle Twill is primarily used for athletic lettering and is commonly found on the uniforms of professional sports teams.
