Data will be captured at approximately a 97% OCR accuracy rate based on what size and type font you are scanning. If you are scanning regular words in a regular font of a normal size, in a smooth scanning motion, about 97% of the information you scan will be correct. It is not 100%. Some words may not be fully recognized by the speller because the letters may be smeared or truncated. You can easily make quick corrections by using the Opticard, the on-screen editing functions, or put it through a spell checker once you transfer it to your computer.  more
