What does the Age of Enlightenment have to do with the American Revolution?
I’m not sure what the ‘textbook’ to this would be, but in answering this question on my homework tonight, I said that philosophies from philosophers of that time were used as the basis for important documents during the American Revolution such as the Declaration of Independence as well as the Bill of Rights, and later, the Constitution.
