What does the Belleville Rotary Club do?
• Meet every Tuesday at 6:15 p.m. at the Belleville United Methodist Church; • Conduct projects which support the Belleville, Van Buren, Sumpter community; • Award 10 scholarships annually, with the help of our Charles B. Cozaad Foundation, to deserving high school seniors or as renewals to college or vocational school freshman; • Support the work of local police and fire departments – most recently with the gift of life saving defibrillators and ice rescue equipment; • Promote and financially aid the growth and continued development of the Fred C. Fischer Library, Council for the Arts, Historical Museum, and other significant community endeavors; • Sponsor an annual Strawberry Pancake Breakfast and popcorn booths at local functions to raise funds which support our projects and maintain visibility in the community; • Attempt to serve our fellow human beings through four avenues of service: Club, Community, International, and Vocational; • Have fun while we serve and enjoy occasional sp
