What does the credit monitoring activation process involve?

0

You will be enrolling in a Credit Monitoring service online, which will enable you to view your TransUnion report for free, as well. Part of this process involves TrueCredit verifying your identity. They will ask for personal information such as social security number, previous address, etc. It is safe to provide this information, as their site is secure. You will use a TrueCredit certificate code to register for this service, which is assigned upon visiting the Credit Monitoring page once you have logged in to our Membership site. You will not be required to pay for anything. This process will take approximately 15-30 minutes to complete, and afterward you will have online access to your credit report for thirty days. Once you are able to view your report, your Credit Monitoring has begun. Notifications are automatically sent monthly, but you can change your preferences under the “My Acount” tab in the TrueCredit site.
