What does the poem The Lamb by William Blake really mean?

I really think the narration is for us to understand the relationship that God has with Jesus because realistically, they already know. But we as humans need revelation to understand, so that is what Blake is trying to get across. So really, it is a conversation between God and Jesus so that we can view it and understand a little more about Jesus and who he is and how he became who he was/is.
