What does the red (or red and green) bar mean?

0

The red/green bar is a progress bar and is presented next to each assignment so can easily gauge your progress. The red/green bar measures your activity on an assignment and how much credit you’ve received. The bright green region represents the points that have been awarded, the white region represents points you can still earn (but you have to complete the activity), and the red region represents points that can no longer be earned (e.g. if you completed an assignment after the deadline had passed). For certain types of questions (homework), you may see a darker shade of green on your progress bar. This represents points for questions that have been answered but the points won’t be determined until after the deadline passes (i.e. feedback is delayed until after the assignment due date has passed). If you rollover the bar, you’ll see a notation related to the graphic display, such as “You currently have 50%” to provide further points clarification.
