What does the term iQ Technology mean?
The term “iQ Technology” describes the synthesis of microelectronics, software and communications components in combination with standard battery and power-storage technology. It is the product of the interaction between the disciplines physics, chemistry and engineering sciences. iQ Technology, in terms of the “MagiQ” smart battery developed by iQ Power, applies an integrated systemic approach. It reduces or eliminates disruptive influences thereby simplifying important parameters and making those complex interdependencies arising in lead/acid batteries easier to control, calculate and predict. Among a multitude of other benefits, this technology makes the battery model, or software, needed for determining the state of charge (SOC) and state of health (SOH) much simpler and significantly more accurate.
