What does the "W" (e.g. HRBW) stand for when certifying hardness done on the Rockwell B scale?

It will soon become an ASTM specification requirement that all users of Rockwell B indentors use a tungsten carbide ball, instead of steel. At the present, you can use either, but must indicate by HRBW, if using tungsten carbide when certifying or reporting values.  more
