Enoch was an island city controlled by a sect of vampires. While the wraiths were not happy with the idea of vampires invading their realm, they were having problems finding Enoch. (Enoch was actually hidden in the Tempest, and had no corresponding location in the living lands.) Calling upon an ancient favor, one of the Death Lords learned of Enoch’s location from a group of tempest travelers. The Death Lords attacked. It turns out that the Death Lord who called upon the favor, had done so because he had recently come into possession of a power weapon, a relic of a nuclear bomb. He used the nuke on Enoch. Although Enoch was destroyed, along with most of its vampires, it was a really bad idea. Unfortunately, at the same, time a mortal (working for a group of science-mages called the Technocracy) was in the process of hiding a real nuke in the Labyrinth (Mediums pg.66).
