What effects do glaciers have on the environment?

0

The effects of glaciers have a major effects on the environments.I have studied the science and seen documentaries on the subject.Satellite photos from the 1980’s and ones taken last year show that the north pole has shrunk about one third it’s size. The glaciers in the arctic develope fissures or deep cracks hundreds of feet deep and the melting water goes beneath them and causes them to literally float and move off the land masses. The scientists conservatively say that by the end of the century the sea level will rise 3 feet which will cause massive flooding. Also the changes in sea temperature is what cause violent cyclones and hurricanes.
