What equipment is available in the Sourin, LaFarge and Overbrook fitness centers?
The fitness centers all feature a combination of cardiovascular equipment (treadmills, elliptical/cross trainers and stationary bikes) and strength equipment to allow full-body strength training. The Life Fitness brand equipment is the same as one would find in a top-tier health club. No free weights are available. Who can use the Sourin, LaFarge and Overbrook fitness centers? Sourin, LaFarge and Overbrook Halls feature fitness centers that are available to any resident student (a student who resides in a University residence hall). A roster of resident students will be kept at the front desk of each facility that houses a fitness center. What if I am a resident student and my name is not on the list? If for any reason a resident student’s name is not on the resident student list, please contact the Director of Living Learning at 610-660-3335.
