What exactly is a co-sleeper bassinet?

Its the Arms Reach Co-sleeper. We use it and its wonderful. Has a weight limit of 35lbs for the bassinet part, 50lbs for the playard part. Converts to a playard, and can be used seperate or attached to your bed. My son is 4.5 months old and over 20 lbs. If I was using a regular bassinet, he would have outgrown it before 3 months old! Not cool by me. PS: get the standard not the mini. You can use it longer.
