LEXAN Polycarbonate, is among the strongest form of plastic currently available for water bottles. It has Glass-like Clarity, Appearance, and Durability. It will also withstand substantial heat (135 C) & cold (-135 C) and will NOT distort its shape, develop an odor, or give a funny “plastic” taste to the water or any other edibles. Polycarbonate can be identified with a #7 in the recycling triangle on the bottom of the bottle, and GE LEXAN can be identified by the original green GE LEXAN tag.
