What exactly is Operation TLC?
Operation TLC is a family of cool, fun worker bees from across the country united in the common goal of getting people back into livable homes. People just like you. Operation TLC Volunteer Center was launched in September 2006 by Annie and Tammy, cofounders of Mississippi Home Again, with the assistance of the AmeriCorps*National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC), and the support of Rebuild Jackson County. NCCC crews still run TLC. Operation TLC Volunteer Center is operated under the leadership of the Jackson County Community Coalition. The Center is grateful for the continued support of the City of Pascagoula, Chevron Refinery-Pascagoula, the Bacot / McCarty Foundation, Mississippi Home Again, Red River Service, and Cable One. They are a community outreach program that not only houses volunteers, but also facilitates community projects and provides a safe place for the community to gather and obtain information.
