What exams do students need to take?
RAI utilizes a balanced approach using a comprehensive system that includes state testing (STAR, California Standards Test, CA High School Exit Exam, and CA English Language Learner Test) as well as a classroom assessment system based on results of daily student performance. Teachers evaluate and grade all student work in relation to the given standards under study. Credits acquired at another school will be accepted if that high school is accredited. An accredited school is one that is accredited by a nationally recognized accrediting agency or by the State Department of Education. Students transferring credits from foreign or non-accredited domestic high schools must provide a transcript and/or take a designated test to validate their credits. Those students who have been home schooled follow the same procedures as students from unaccredited domestic schools. The transcripts must include a listing of the subjects taken at each grade level.
