What Expenses are Covered by the “Trip Costs”?
• Training and fundraising costs • Visa costs (if visa is needed) • Mission agency fees (if applicable) • Half of trip Costs for Bethel’s team leader and assistant leader • Travel insurance through Insurance Services of America • Housing and meals on-site • Ground and air travel costs (from Bethel’s RC Steps to the destination and back to Bethel’s RC Steps) Two things to note: • If students pay for any of the above, they must turn in a receipt as soon as possible in order to be reimbursed. • If a cash advance is sent with an SMP team member, receipts must be turned in to account for the cash advance upon the student’s return. If currency exchange was involved, Campus Ministries needs to know the rate of conversion at the time of the transaction.
