What extracurricular activities are available to Kilgore College agriculture students?
KC administration vigorously supports the award-winning KC Agriculture Club. The KC Agriculture Club has been voted six of the past seven years by its peers in the Texas Junior College Agriculture Association as the “Outstanding Chapter in the State.” In addition, the KC Agriculture Club has had elected the State President and one other state officer five of the past seven years. The Club regularly competes in 35-40 community service projects throughout East Texas each year making it the most active student organization on campus. These students learn cooperation and practice leadership. But it’s not all work and no play. They form a close bond and enjoy performing their various activities and projects. These students often have a hard time saying “good bye” to their classmates when it’s time to transfer on to senior colleges.
