What features do earthquake proof buildings have?
There is really no earthquake proof buildings. Only buildings that are earthquake resistant. They typically have dashpots or something to absorb the energy of the shaking. They may also have their foundations rest on suspension systems so that the building stays stationary and that the rest of the Earth moves around them. Just two methods to mitigate earthquakes.
