The Hottrend display is designed to give you the most information possible in a very small space. Therefore each section is consequent. When you look at a stock on the Hottrend in RealTick it will look like this: Rank: This number gives you the stock's rank in the RealTime Radar, which is determined by comparing the current minute to a stock's behavior of the same minute in previous days, and then comparing the behavior to all other stocks on the exchange. Consec. Minutes: This column tells you how many consecutive minutes the stock has been "abnormal" in the most current period of detection. This lets you see if the stock has been "abnormal" all day, or if it has just begun exhibiting such signs. If the stock was in the RealTime Radar earlier in the day and has just returned, this column will display the Back icon.
