Because ActivePresentation Designer is fully integrated in to Microsoft PowerPoint, it supports/creats files in the formats supported by PowerPoint such as .ppt and .pps for PowerPoint 2003 and .pptx, .ppts, .pptm for PowerPoint 2007 and later. For PowerPoint 2007 and later, when certain active features are enabled in ActivePresentation Designer, the file format needs to be changed from the default .pptx to a macro enabled file format such as .pptm.
