What financial service stocks are good buys at todays prices?
There is no doubt that the financial-services sector has been out of favor for over a year, mostly reflecting the rising interest-rate environment. But for those seeking exposure to the financial sector, I do have a handful of stocks that could be considered core holdings. These include Bank of America, Chase Manhattan, Bank of New York, and PNC Bank. All of them are less interest-rate sensitive than many of their peers.
