What foods should I avoid when breastfeeding?

None, even alcohol and caffeine are fine in moderation. Breast feeding moms should eat a well rounded diet and shouldn’t overly limit the foods they eat because it has been linked to early weening or switching to formula. Eat a balanced diet and you will be just fine. Don’t listen to anyone that says to give up dairy or not eat strawberries or peanuts. There is no credible research that has linked digestion or allergy problems in bfing infants to something that mom was eating. I’ll throw up a link because I usually get thumbs down when I say stuff like this. http://kellymom.com/nutrition/mom/mom-fo… Edit: Just saw your add. Talk to a certified lactation consultant before changing your diet. Doctors are not very good sources for breastfeeding moms.
