Any event management software which will do a half decent job costs money. Many of them offer a free demo or free trial but to actually use it for an event you will have to pay. The only professional software which has a totally free option is www.amiando.com but it is only free if your event is free. If you are charging an entry fee or selling tickets they have paid options. So if yours is a free private event it would be worth taking a look.
