My first question for you is where are you on 12th Street? Near Metro Center there are a few little shops like H&M, Macy’s, Kemp Hill and a few other trendy little shops in the “Shops at Metro Center.” K Street and M Street have great shops on them, but they are a bit of a hike from where you are on 12th… it would be over near 28th to find trendy shopping. All along Connecticut from Farragut Metro to Dupont Metro, there are a variety of shops, not necessarily fashion, but little trendy shops. I would say Dupont would be a good place to take a teen shopping. Union Station has a bit of shopping as well, and is often a frequent stop for many high school groups because of its shopping. As far as typical shopping malls, you won’t find one in the district as of yet. Your best bets for that would be Crystal City Mall (Crystal City Metro), Pentagon Row (Pentagon Metro), Montgomery Mall (Bethesda Metro then J2 Bus), Ballston Mall (Ballston Metro), and Tyson’s Corner (Ballston Metro then 23A B
