What Happened to Invader Zim?
It was canned mostly due to creative differences between Jhonen Vasquez (the creator) and the Nickelodeon Execs. Decisions were made about the show with little to no consultation with Jhonen and he got sick of it. Eventually the series was moved to a late timeslot and canned due to poor ratings resulting from that. Scripts from unmade episodes and original dialogue from the unmade episodes are around on the internet though, if you wanted to know what was in store for ZIM. Apparently a TV special/movie called Invader DIB was planned where Dib goes to the Irken planet, or their headquarters, or something…..
