Apparently the 23″ cinema display is discontinued, though you might find one somewhere other that the Apple Store. MacRumours.com suggests not buying a LCD from Apple right now, and actually wait until after the San Francisco Conference in early January – as they think the cinema displays might be getting updated. Also, the 24″ display will only work with the newest MacBooks, as it requires a different display-connecting port: and there are no adapters for older MacBooks/MacBook Pros. So unless you find one somewhere else, it might be best to wait it out for a while and see what they come up with. Hope this helps you!
