What Happened to the Cast of Good Times?
The characters in Good Times included Ralph Carter, BerNadette Stanis, Jimmie Walker, Ja’net DuBois, Ester Rolle and John Amos. Ester Rolle passed away in 1998. In recent years John Amos has appeared in Men In Trees, The West Wing and The District and continues to act. Ja’net DuBois also continues to act. She has appeared in Cold Case and The PJs. BernNadette Stanis also continues to act. Ralph Carter only appeared in Good Times and has not appeared in any other television programs or movies. He is currently living in New York. Jimmie Walker is probably the most well known of the cast. He still appears in movies and appeared in the programs Everybody Hates Chris and the George Lopez show. He continues to do stand-up comedy averaging 25-30 weeks a year.
